The Advantage Foundation presented in the hall of the Palazzo della Ragione in Padua, in collaboration with the Department of Culture, an installation by the cosmopolitan artist Louise Manzon in contiguity with the issues of social and environmental sustainability also promoted by Advantage.green.
The exhibition opened on February 7 on the occasion of the visit of the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella to Padua and will remain open to the public until March 8.
An all-female exhibition that combines the incessant passage of time with the constant repetition of the migratory phenomenon. Protagonists of the exhibition will be sculptures of figures covered with poor materials, such as iron wires, fragments of metal nets, pottery shards, but crowned as true queens. They are female archetypes that bring life, struggles faced in history, cultures, religions, geographies that hold dreams and hopes. Indeed, Louise Manzon’s art enhances the imagination of women as “guardian of the creative principle and mother of a transcendent time
and absolute “.
The concept of Aion is assimilated to the perennial migration process; it therefore represents eternity, the time that begins again and again, without a true beginning and a true end.
The vernissage, by invitation, will be on February 6 at 18.00. Admission is free, the only cost is that already provided for accessing the Palazzo della Ragione.
